Phillip Drake, a paralegal and Tampa native, is a critical and essential member of the Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A. team. He has been with the firm for over thirteen years. Providing a conduit for client issues and answers to our client’s (non-legal) questions, Phillip works closely with the attorneys assisting with the analysis of discovery and financial documents, preparation for court, depositions, collaborative case meetings, mediations, etc. Prior to joining Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A., Phil spent eight years in county and state government with seven years in the Florida Attorney General Children’s Legal Services division (CLS) dealing with abandoned, abused, and neglected children. While at CLS he was the senior paralegal, the liaison with the Juvenile Clerk of Court office, the CLS database manager for the State, tracking and recording statistics for the Division. Phil has traveled extensively from Miami to Vancouver; San Diego to New Hampshire and throughout several European countries.
